This post is why most people find you completely ridiculous. You can't even be honest in your ****Sucking about Pacquiao. If he so great, then why be totally disingenuous in your praise. For anyone who has ever called themselves a Boxing fan, they have seen a prime, well-conditioned Oscar De La Hoya fight before. The guy Pacquiao beat should have never been in the ring. Oscar just fought Steve Forbes who had 33 wins and only 10...10 KO's. And Pillow-Paws Forbes broke Oscar jaw. And because Pacquiao beat Oscar at a weight he hasn't fought at since 2001 (fought with Pac was in 2008 ), I'm am supposed to give credit for beating a man who was obviously WAY PAST IT. There is NO WAY any real boxing fan would claim that Pacquaio was in Beast Mode for beating this version of De La Hoya. C'mon man...Oscar was SHOT. It doesn't make you less of a Pacquiao fan to admit that. And Pacquiao moved up from 135lbs to face Oscar. At one point Pacquiao was a 112lbs fighter....but to make a statement as if he moved from Flyweight to face Oscar, that's just disingenuous.

As a self-proclaim Pacquiao Hater, I have no problem with saying and giving Manny props and credit for his wins over Cotto and Bradley. He looked damn good and beat both fighters impressively. But you feel as if your life would end if you gave Floyd, Broner, Ward or any fighter outside of your idol credit. That is not a Boxing fan.

Oscar cherry-picking a midget for a huge and easy payday
A supposedly mismatch fight in favor of Oscar that consequently turned against him.
That one, ladies and gentlemen, is the true masterclass for me - priceless :yep

How was Pacquiao going to fight a 'prime, well conditioned' Oscar? Explain that one. You know Oscar was pursuing this fight and dragged up a smaller fighter, and everybody gave him **** for it - and everybody (I'm sure you included) thought Pacquiao had 0 chance in the fight. Now you wanna say Oscar was shot/ dead/ weight drained because he got his ass kicked and that Pacquiao weight drained him. I've said many times that Oscar was done at that point -- but there's a difference between looking at it objectively and giving the guy some credit or just looking to hate and find every reason to pick apart the win. You just said your a self proclaimed Pac hater, I guess that tells the story.

Ok....let me try to re-explain this S.L.O.W.L.Y. In fact...let me just stop. I said a lot in my post in attempt to have a rational debate with you about how much credit Pacquiao should get for his fight with Oscar. Yet all you saw was the words Pacquiao Hater. So your response was based on those words instead of the points I made. So it's a waste of time.

    C'mon guys let's get real

-Nobody believed in that weight-drained BS before that fight happen.
-Everybody was persecuting Oscar for that fight and everybody thought Pac was becoming the national hero who was gonna get killed inside the ring.
-The only ****** that believed Oscar was shot to sh*t was Roach. Even Pac fans thought that Roach was ****** himself.
-Bob Arum was planning to cash out on Pac that time. He didn't care anymore, he had Valero by that time already :deal

As a fan of boxing it is hella dissappointing to not have seen a 2009-2011 Pac vs Floyd. So upsetting. What a match it would have been

Even though this is considered a beatdown of DLH his reflexes are amazing. He minimized the force and impact of all those straight lefts by reflexively pulling back each time. It was still a scoring blow but he delayed the damage and lasted longer in the fight than had the landed clean

DLH's always had a good chin. Only other time he's been stopped was by a Hopkins body shot.

oscar was getting beat up in his training camp. Many men could have beaten the washed up version that Pac fought. Man, if Stevie Forbes had a little more power Oscar would have been in trouble in their fight previous to Pac's fight with Oscar.

I also said in another forum before the pac/oscar fight that I though oscar picking Pac was a dumb move and could see pac winning. I knew deep down oscar was done and pac was the worst opponent to take on at that exact time in his career. He would've been smarter and probably beaten Margarito had he went that route. Mosley did it and was just as washed up as oscar.

What a joke of a thread and of course started by yours truly Garbage Tabasco. Manny should be cast for the next season of Walking Dead where he can show case his skill set against zombies which is the equivalent of this fight.

Tazo several people could beat DLH that night. Oscar couldn't let his hands go and had cement feet. Pac did what he was supposed to though.
