Floyd is the only one that really counts at this point. There is little glory in the other match ups mentioned here. There are other possibilities.

Could Pac make middle weight? If so a MW title would look good on his legacy. Flyweight to middleweight. Looks good in the history books.

Surely he could handle the likes of Golovkin or Sylvester.

(NB the Taliban could never make 147)

    I don't see him fighting beyond 2012.

That's what I was afraid about. The 4-year contract should have been finished by the end of 201. He most probably re-signed but I can't find any info on it, and for how long. Better if he use his own MP Productions - easier fights can be made and more money for him.

Taking the marquez fight now imo is very bad decision...in 2012 it would be ridiculous.
After his loss to floyd he should probably take on bradley because floyd will most likely take on khan next

Floyd's the final person on some of these lists. He never struck me as someone who would stay in the game for that long. I don't see him staying in boxing past 35 if he even fights again.

This is the same person who always talks about how other fighters don't realize, and then there's life after boxing.

That would be called "cherrypicking" for Pac here on ESB. :nut

Actually beat up another security guard should do the trick.

Yep, If he wants to fight on after mayweather that is, which he probably will because by then bradley alongside khan will be the other best boxers in the division. Bradley will look good on his resume in the long term

Is MP promotions a real thing? Mayweather Promotions, Cotto Promotions, all these promotional companies that don't really have fighters signed and don't do their own cards. The only promotional company that I know stages fights is Hatton Promotions. Everyone else just has ________ Promotions without actually having fighters signed only to them.

    Mosley
    If no Mayweather:
    Cotto 2 @ 150 (assuming Cotto has a title)
    Maidana @ 147
    JMM 3 @ 147
    Alvarez @147
    Bradley @147

    If Mayweather:
    Mayweather 2 @ 147
JMM 3 @ 147 ( if no rubber match with Mayweather)
    Maidana @ 147
    Cotto 2 @ 150
    Bradley @ 147

Obviously, relations with GBP put many of these fights in question.

I found it interesting that Bob Arum has an option on Shane, to promote his next fight, should he win this fight...with that option likely being a rematch with Manny. Arum is as slick as a can of oil.
