That's rather obvious, just like Floyd's better than anyone Manny has ever faced.

Beating Pacquiao 3 years ago would have done wonders for Floyd's legacy. Beating Pacquiao (clearly) now would still enhance it significantly

Well, in terms of resume, experience and abilities, it's vice-versa.

I don't think Pac is better than Marquez although the separation between the two is very small. Pac has become more of a boxer these days and if he tries to box with Floyd he will get embarrassed. JMM, a highly intelligent boxer, didn't know what the hell he was doing against Floyd.

as in emmanuel has a good legacy

Jose and surprisingly Miguel had better styles to challenge Mayweather though

Castillo and Corrales were much more dangerous at the time for Floyd than Manny is now IMO

Probably considering they have fought many similar opponents anyway.

Just to throw one out there would you say Pac is 'better' than Marquez :think

Pacquiao is a better boxer than Marquez. I see Pacquiao completely destroying Diaz, Casamayor, Katisidis, and Fedchenko. But I don't see Marquez destroying Barrera (he didn't), Morales (we'll never know), Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, or Moslety.

Marquez and Pacquiao are just made for one another.

I go by official rankings and Floyd fights much higher ranked opponents these days.

You have to go back to 2005 to see the last time Floyd fought an unranked opponents. Manny fought Mosley who was #6 at WW, and Clottey who was #6 at WW. He also fought an unranked Margarito.

Both have beat 4 top 10 pound for pound fighters.
