what I love about that fight is how it looks like Pac just processes everything so much faster than Cotto. Its like they are fighting in two different speed frames both mentally and physically. And Pac is totally comfortable with that but Cotto has to give everything he has just to barely keep up with Pac until he breaks down.
Cotto needed to keep that jab active to keep pacquaio from unleashing the torrent. Pacquiao, when going on the offense, is a machine. I don't think Cotto could ever beat him, but he could have done a lot better with a different corner and some sound advice.
you know, in round 2 alone Cotto must've eaten like 4 or 5 straight left counters when he threw his jab. So there was no way he could just keep it active so easily.
Pacquiao is a beast hes just a better fighter than Cotto. The problem is how much Cotto was able to land those first couple of rounds. Floyd is gonna pick him apart unfortunately.
FMJ throws way less punches than Cotto, and FMJ will be less willing to take Pac's incoming shots than Cotto was. If you think Floyd will win, ok, but you can't go by the logic you listed above.
