No. Berto is undefeated and in his prime. Rockgloves is 0-1 since being caught cheating by brutal knockout. Berto would be a bigger win.

There's no way the corrupt Texas commission would deny him a license if he was going to fight Pacquiao in Dallas Stadium. That's a whole different thing than fighting Carson Jones on an undercard.

He may be undefeated but if Pac beat him people would say he was never that good and then people would struggle to use his resume to show he is.

Berto isn't "great", but he's a better win than Margarito right now.

Mosley has quality wins since his EPO use right? Margarito hasn't done anything since being found to have used illegal hand wraps right? If Mosley has good wins under his belt since 2003 which was 7 years ago and Margarito is still getting up off of the mat after being annihilated over a year ago, how is that the same thing?

Margarito has to earn some credibility back before getting good fights and good paydays. That's something that he hasn't done yet. A fighter who built his name off of loaded gloves doesn't deserve to walk right back into money fights. He has to prove he belongs.

Exactly. Margarito's last fight out he was caught cheating, dominated, and knocked flat out. He's also coming off a year-long suspension. How in the hell would he possibly deserve a shot at Pacquiao?

Yawn. I don't know why you are getting a hard-on over the word 'caught'. The only thing which is important is that Shane Mosley was involved in a drug scandal in reality. You can keep bitching on about word choice all night, what is that going to change? OK, Mosley wasn't 'caught' taking an illegal substance, he was 'found to have taken' illegal substances', or he was 'caught in a situation where he admitted to have taken' illegal substances, or he was 'exposed as participating in the taking of illegal substances'!!! We can phrase it any way you fancy it, the importance is that this event happened at all, not what word I or anyone else uses to describe it. But if it makes you feel good to keep at it, keep coming, I can rephrase it all night long too! He was 'publicly declared to be a willing party in revelations of illegal substance usage'. That better? Or did you prefer one of the earlier ones?? Boring.

Beyond the fact that Margarito was caught cheating, he was also knocked out in his last fight. Mosley, however, is coming off a terrific victory over Rockgloves himself, and has shown himself to be a top fighter in the Welterweight divison. Some say he's the top dog in the division. Rockgloves... umm... well, he has absolutely no grounds to deserve a fight with Pacquiao. Nothing hypocritical about that.

Pop, I am not arguing the man was in an investigation and his name came up. I am not. I am not arguing if the man cheated. I am not. I am saying that since he cheated he has been an active fighter, willing to undergo the testing to show he is clean, and put himself in a position to deserve his fight.

Man Marg got his can kicked. I don't think he deserves a fight with the "Fighter of the Decade" or "P4P Best" (though I disagree with those) Pac. Earn your spot at the table. Don't be Arum's "inside hookup".

Cheating is cheating. But there is some difference. Difference is that in boxing, you are going to get hit. So PED's enhance your performance. Loaded gloves are a weapon. Why not just bring a bat or brass knuckles?

I seriously dont understand Arum's thinking...He's screwing us fans in a major way...He insists on keeping his fighters in house...I dont understand some fans...I'm not here to stand in judgement of nobody but damn man, it gets crazy sometimes!

Of course he did. Anyone who says Rockgloves started cheating for the single Mosley fight are deluded, or are trolling.

How does any of what you wrote make the statement I was responding to any more true? You wrote this:

And that is bollocks, plain and simple. Mosley didn't build his name back up over time, he walked straight into a big title fight against Winky Wright... and when he lost that fight he got another shot straight away. Had he actually won the 1st Winky fight and not got dominated and beaten, he would have got a $12m payday vs Tito Trinidad, that was already arranged - despite the scandal.

You made a BS statement, so changing the goalposts or adding some irrelevant new **** onto it in your next post doesn't alter that.
