I just think Pac's skills would be too much for Hatton to handle. Hatton won't outbox him. If he tries to brawl with him, he will fall right into Pac's hands. You could see Pac stopping him on cuts(Ricky is prone to them), or battering him into submission.

 

I am guessing that the fight will be: Pacquiao UD close

 

I believe that Manny and Roach are planning to fight with controlled aggression. Hit and move, with power.

Ricky's too dangerous, and you should not go for an all out flurry, mid range, if you hurt him bad enough. Too many bad things can happen in a split second.

I think this will be more like a sculptor patiently chipping away at a big block of marble, using a chisel and a small hammer until he finishes a masterpiece.

 

Well, if that's what you think is going to happen, then I think 5 rounds is too short to soften hatton up enough for him to get TKO'd or be stopped by the ref.

It would be more like late rounds stoppage, maybe round 11, if I will follow your way of thinking.

I dont care how he wins. As long as he wins, that's fine by me.

 

Im betting for Pac to win, but not that early.

 

I dont know about the 5th round but Pac should stop him around the 8th or 9th. But the fight wont be easy. Hatton will be stronger and is pretty quick himself but Pacquiao skills should overcome that.

 

this seems to be what i think is most probable but i can also see ricky edge it if he can drop pac a couple of times. easier said than done though. ricky can make a fight pac has never seen before by smothering pac constantly. pac needs room to use his superior footwork and reach so ricky has an advantage at close quarters. just keep him close and wrestle him a lot to take the spring out of his step. ricky is strong enough to hurt pac if he can get inside pacs punch perimeter.

 

rnd5 is too early..first 3rnds would be like feeling each other and playing safe..rnd4-5 maybe either one could hurt the other but not enough to stop either one....I think it would be around rnd8-9...I like Pac to win but not 100% confident..
