PAC says "Oscar's physical edge won't be to much"

CEBU CITY--On board the private boat owned by sportsman-businessman Luigi Quisumbing during a cruise on Cebu waters yesterday, Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao revealed for the first time that Oscar De la Hoya may have the physical edge if indeed they meet on the ring, but that is not something to be overly concerned about.

In a conversation with Philboxing.com/Mannypacquiao.ph during the three-hour cruise, Pacquiao intimated that the Mexicans will stop at nothing to get a win over him, and this will include having De la Hoya fight him.

"Gusto talaga ng Mexicano na makaganti sa akin," (The Mexicans really want to get back at me) Pacquiao said, also insisting that if they ever fight, it should be in the 146-147-lb backyard.

When asked if De la Hoya's height and reach advantage would bother him in the event they crossed paths, Pacquiao said: "Not so much."

"Mas matangkad sya, pero hindo masyado malayo ang agwat. Ok lang yun (He's taller, but by not much. That's ok), Pacquiao revealed, before dipping into the waters snorkeling with his personal assistant Michael Evangelio.

Pacquiao later reached the Efren Gloria Floating Resto, where flabbergasted local and foreign customers who had been lunching had the time of their lives seeing Pacquiao in the waters. Upon noticing the boxing hero, a commotion ensued for the chance to take a peek at the boxing icon, and the humble General Santos lefty obliged for their request to come up to the restaurant for some photo ops with the customers.

"Grabe and mga tawo kung makakita ni Pacquiao, mora man maboang. Karon pa ko kita ingon ani nga phenomenon," (It's unbelievable when people see him, they would go crazy. I've never seen a phenomenon like this) said sportsman Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who was joined by Quisumbing and former Cebu City Councilor Jorge Rama on the cruise.

Pacquiao and his entourage were later dropped off at the private anchor within the Shangri-La Mactan resort, before proceeding to the Sto. Nino church.

That's what I want to happen. I don't want the DLH-PBF2 to take place. There's no demand for it. PBF asking more money than the 1st fight. Those 2.4M buyers was tricked, PBF promises action & KO but nothing like that came off the fight. It won't sell much & might not happen.

DLH wants to retire this year, I don't think it's good for him to reward PBF with another big Paycheck. He better give it to Pac who is part of his Promotion. Anything to pump up Pac's PPV numbers will benefit his own pocket in Pac's future fight.

Here's my projected Pac Path & purse split & PPV numbers:

    Without DLH:
Pac-Diaz -Pac makes $6M/900K- PPV sales around 350-400K
    Pac-JMM rematch- $8M/$2M-PPV sales 500K
    Pac-Campbell/Casa- Pac $10M/$1.2M-PPV sales 500K+

    With DLH:
    Pac-Diaz -$6M/900K -350-400K
    Pac-DLH- $30M/$40M+ -2M PPVs(win or lose)
    Pac-JMM rematch- $15M/$3M - 600-700K
    Pac-Casa/Camp/- $16M/$2M - 800K
    Pac-Hatton- $25M/$20M- 1.5M PPV sales
    Pac-PBF- $30M/$30M -2.5M PPV sales

If you are a Promoter or the Fighter or the Manager, Which Path you're going to Choose???? Pac needs do that DLH fight right away & it will benefit all his next fight after that. He doesn't have to KO DLH, He doesn't have to win. All he needs is to show his heart & give a good & entertaining fight.

Pac's Legacy is secured!!! He can Play around a little bit. Why not make it Bigtime????

    yada yada....

I don't make money off pacquiao, But the joy he's giving to all Pinoys are Priceless. Pacquiao beating DLH will make him one of the best P4P ATGS fighter. That's what I'm predicting in the Past & you guys ridiculed me. Pac beating the lesser guys like Guzzy, Valero, Diaz. Casa, Campbell won't give him anymore Legacys. He's already a much much Greater fighter than all those guys. Only an equally Great fighter can Put Pacquiao in a Higher Pedestal. That's the ultimate goal, to be the Greatest Fighter P4P. He has the Chance, Why not try & grasp the opportunity???

Maybe you need to keep a ledger to know who ridiculed you and who did not. It seems that you have a feeling that everyone ridiculed you. It might be because you also know that what you are posting are ridiculous. You are not the only pinoy here so you are not the only one rejoicing Pac's triumphs but you sure act like Pac's business manager. Yes, Pac has a chance though a very slim chance. Besides, this fight will only happen if DLH can make 147lbs. Pac might win here even before the fight will start. Can DLH still make 147lbs?

I believed in you. I believed in supernaturals too.

Most of your predictions come true, you only missed once (Antillon-Bobpac) but not big time.

This will be a legendary bout. Are you predicting a draw in this match? So that we can expect a PAC-ODLH rematch too.:hey

Yeahhhhhhhh. Pac hits harder than guys like Hopkins and Trinidad. :rofl

Have you seen what Oscar's left hook does? Even to iron-jawed welterweights and super-welterweights? Pac would be in hospital for a long time.
