Pernell was a better boxer and Pac is a better fighter.

Pernell would use the ring and counter punch Pac like Marquez and Morales did.

Like I said I would have love to have seen Prime Camacho vs. Pea. Then at least we would have had some reference point. Too me its a question of power, you need to have power like a Duran to keep Manny off because hes going to hit you. Even a hater like Manny Steward concedes this. Manny will hit you its not a question of if. Thats been his thing, he throws from angles you dont know at blinding speed, its physics. Sure you can time that but he better not laugh at you when you do.

Well technically Del La Hoya was better than Whitaker at welterweight.

this should be somewhat of a templete, clowning around being slick or be the aggressor. Hey it was a controversial decision but this is very possible. And PAcquaio again is quicker than Oscar at WW.

He loses to both, in my opinion, handily. They're the two worst kinds of style for Pac. He does better against the mid-ring/stand-up types.

So what your saying is that the versions of De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito that Pacquiao beat are better than Whitaker was at 140-154? Talk about a fanboy.

    Please stop w/this nonesense!! :patsch

Ppl are taking this Pac **** a lil to far!! Actually way to far!! He's gettin outboxed by Pea & at 135lbs a prime Chavez would be a nightmare!!

Chavez is a whole different beast compared to guys like Margo, Cotto Clottey & a weight drained dehydrated Oscar!! Unlike Margo he was a skilled pressure fighter & a very accurate one!! If we're goin on the Margo fight Pac gets brutally beaten! Margo hit Pac a hell of a lot & this is guy who's very slow, plodding, throws wide sloppy punches and doesn't know the meaning of cutting of the ring!! If you have the slightest footwork & escapability combined w/some speed than u can beat Margo!! Sat. nite proved it!! Chavez was the total opposite, if he cornered u he was gonna beat the **** outta u while u were there not waste punches & he knew how to cut off the ring!! He was a brutal body puncher & wore his opponent down!! Pac still doesn't have good defense, he has ok defense but he still gets hit a lot & if Margo can land those wide, slow, sloppy punches best believe Chavez would land 3x's as many & more flush!! Pac was caught in way to many troublesome spots than he should've against Margo!! I'm not & never was a fan of Chavez but I respected his ability!!

As far as Pea goes... Please don't disrespect that man like that!! He would be to defensive, to crafty & cleaver & would have a field day countering Pac!! Again... Pac still gets hit a lot & Pea was accurate!! Damn... I don't even wanna waste time talkin bout this one but I can't wait for the replies!!

Not fact. It's a maybe. I don't think he would KO Pea, but he would probably outpoint him on activity. JCC - Pac is a complete ****ing tossup, my #1 fantasy fight of all time.

well that's the thing... yeah Pea would make him look silly at times, just like he did everyone else, but Manny would never stop throwing punches. I don't see how Pea is going to match his workrate, and he's not slipping all of Manny's shots, Manny is deadly accurate and very very quick. I would favor Manny over Pea all day long. ODLH beating Pea was no robbery, and it was no fluke either.
