The proof of damage to Pacquiao's reputation is found everywhere on the Internet. When Mayweather started accusing him of drugs, many people have since questioned Pacquiao's reputation and dignity.

From my understanding of defamation, one only has to prove that a reasonable person would think less of the plaintiff after reading the defamatory statements directed to him by the defendant. Meaning, if Mayweather's public words tarnished Pacquiao's image in the minds of others, then Manny can sue Floyd for damages. The case is thrown out if the allegations are true but Pacquiao has no legal obligation to prove that he is clean. It's up to the Mayweathers to provide evidence of Pacquiao's purported use of illegal PEDs.

    Exactly:yep

It's all here & everywhere + people walking up to Manny in the street & asking him if he takes PED's:-( & it's all down to those gobshites the Mayweathers & endorsed out of the mouth of Floyd:patsch

Even in the bars in the UK it's been yapped about, as soon as Floyd started making accusations along with his idiot dad then people started saying "Well!! If Floyd sez he is then he must be on something!!:huh ****in sheep, but mud sticks i'am afraid & i hope that shitbag mayweather gets $$$$$$$$$ reemed for making these totally malicious & unfounded allegations :deal

In a perfect world, this lawsuit wouldn't be happening... because all you idiots saying Pacquiao is on something wouldn't be saying those things, thus, not creating a need to file this lawsuit. Without you, the A-Side meth **** and etc. would have just been trash talk. And so I blame you, the Pac haters, for this waste of time.

The American court system is a joke.

How can someone sue for slander.

The judge is an idiot for entertaining even such case.

My God, my head almost exploded trying to be a ***** for 30 seconds. They were probably created on the 8th day of creation when God was so tired.

    Brains - whatever.

Slander isn't something as trivial as name-calling. Slander is, by definition, damaging, and can be sued for any perceived amount of damage caused. As it turns out, it seems Pacquiao hasn't exactly lost any sponsorship deals or major fights from this, so he isn't suing for (relatively) very much... mostly just a pittance for the damage to his reputation amongst internet tough guys and at most the few minutes of his time wasted total because of whenever a reporter asks about steroid / PED use and the whole drug test issue.
