pacquiao can get old and still be better than tim, to see a decline in a fighter you compare to his own standards few years ago, not to those of his opposition, e.g. now Wlad can decline another step, but it wont matter because his opposition is so poor, I believe Wlad has declined from 2011 but no one is there to expose it, he can school guys but doesnt mean that he isnt getting old

His confidence in his chin has also declined massively. Look at Pac vs JMM 2 and watch I think the end of the third round when pac wobbles marquez. The last punching sequence is just a blur of speed with lower. That old pac just taps his gloves and comes back with a combination. Now he just moves out of danger and is pushed back too easily.

I see little evidence of the 'obvious' decline people allude to. Pacqiao did have an impressive run when he destroyed the likes of Hatton, De La Hoya, Cotto, Margarito and beat Mosely, Cotley but some of this was his opponents making look good. De La Hoya and Mosely were way past their primes and Cotto, Hatton just too slow; Pacqiao will destroy any slow boxer today. Remember, Marquez HAS ALWAYS given Pacqiao trouble, even the young Pacqiao everyone thinks was poun for pound king. I don't see the 09-10 Pacqiao destroying Bardley either; Bradley is a defensive, cautious, fast boxer and not allowed Pacqiao to go right through him.

Also, the two Pacqiao losses are blown out of proportion. 1. Pacqiao beat Bradley in the first fight but lost due to a terrible decision 2. Pacqiao was beating Marquez before getting careless and a running into Marquez's punch. Pacqiao was smacking Marquez, knocked him down and was going for the kill. It wasn't as if Marquez was destroying him and knocked him out; no, Pacqiao was trying to finish the fight. This is boxing and Marquez always gave Pacqiao trouble. Pacqiao was looking good in that fight..

So this decline BS is blown out of proprtion, Bradley is just tough, was #3 pound for pound and a fighter that doesn't get hit easily. Also, Pacqiao seems to be fighting smarter now, Marquez showed him that being careless can have it's repurcussions.

I think Bradley was a good win and a good prep for Maywather actually as he has a similar style. Onto Mayweather, i pick Floyd but i think Pacqiao has more of a chance than people think. What fast boxer has Mayweather fought in past 5 years? He has been smart in selecting good, but slower boxers and his speed advantage is where he shines. He doesn't have a speed/athletic advantage against Pacman so the fight will be won on stragety and smarts. This is BIG, cause Floyd always has a physical advantage against opponents. The biggest challenge for Pacqiao will be whether to go after Mayweather or make Mayweather go after him (Floyd will not do this though). Floyd is better than Marquez but Marquez clearly has more power so Marquez is more dangerous (from a KO standpoint) for Pacqiao, than Mayweather. Pacman will be less scared of Floyd's counterpunches and be more willing to risk. I think Pacqiao's speed can definitely make this an interesting fight. Floyd may just run and run and try to out point Pacman but judges may make him pay for it.

'Pacs footwork breaks Bradley's legs n feet every time they fight. N bradley is pretty nimble. N PAC is gettin old.'

Sounds like sarcasm - Pacquiao is getting old

Just to say that Pacs footwork is not overrated as someone suggested. Even being old, which PAC is, he still has far superior footwork to most fighters

Of course he is 35 what the y'all expect? His legs is shot. Next to go will probably be his reflexes and can he pull the trigger as he ages further? We'll see!! But yes he is not the same. Maybe Bradley is underrated or it's just Pacquiao aging.

He is slower, less accurate, gets hurt more, throws way fewer combinations, gets hit more cleanly and when he does looks dazed instead of happy. Is he still great? Of course. But he is nothing next to the 2009-10 version. This PAC gets koed in three or four by that PAC. Floyd waited him out successfully.
