Did you watch that breakdown on youtube? That was some great ****. Marquez must have went after that shot at least 20 times. Theres some pretty famous footage of him dropping someone in sparring with it

It was always gonna take a phenominal boxer with true guts to beat Pacquiao. Floyd could have done it, but he was too scared. Marquez said **** the drugs, **** the weight, i can beat this monster, and he did

    Marquez is an absolute Legend

These comments are just embarrassing... One of the best timed punches I have ever seen. Then again this is something Pacquiao doesn't really understand so I'm not suprised... timing isn't exactly part of his repertoire.

Are you kidding me? Pac incorporates a lot of timing in his style of fighting. He blends explosive combinations and counter punches extremely well. To say Manny doesn't understand timing is like saying Juan doesn't understand Spanish. At this level of boxing every elite boxer understands both timing and distance.

:patsch Pac was caught while tripping my friend . The punches effect was a case of pure luck . Juan certainly didn't time the trip and its amplified effect .:deal

I would say there was some luck involved. It's not like Juan didn't have more than 40 rds to try and land that very punch. He was also Geting beat up when he landed the punch. Doesn't change the fact that he finally did it, no matter how long it took to get it right.

    Steroids? Tripping? Lucky accident?

The things some people will try to do to minimize an accomplishment. And to aim it at a crafty and technically brilliant warrior like Marquez. Shame.

Almost all KO's involve some degree of skill combined with luck.

:patsch It was lucky . When a guy who you couldn't knock a spark off of in 40 rounds trips into a desperate haymaker its lucky . PS I also thought JUAN won 2 of their first three fights . But this one he was getting beaten badly in and ironically ended up winning in spectacular way . But it was lucky :deal

The real question is how "lucky" was the punch that landed on him on the 3rd round and dropped him like a sack of potatoes.
Seriously though, JMM had more pop to his punch this time around, but it's really not the first time that he hit Pac with both the KD and KO punches.

The only things "lucky" (or serendipitous) about it is it hit on the last second of the round and while Pac was mid-air.
Other than that, it was pure genius.
