I have heard before that black people have a slightly different muscle structure to white people - longer hamstrings that enable them to run faster / jump higher, but smaller calves. I don't know if it's true or not - a friend told me and he was told during high-school sports science. I think there's at least some truth to it, even if it's quite a big generalisation. From an evolutionary perspective it seems plausible and it also explains a lot.
sounds true, my hamstrings are big, but you're saying longer, so i guess that don't really apply....but still, it makes since to me, and yeah i do think that for whatever reason black people cant get big calf muscles, cuzz i've rarely if ever seen a black person with them
I don't know about all this leg talk. Tito had some skinny ass legs and was one of the hardest punchers in boxing history. Then again, Tyson had some massive legs and was one too.
It's a WHEW!!! moment seeing the outsize teak calves of Pinoy fighters. Round-the-clock the toe raises and heavy lifting can't sculpt those; it's genetic. Ask frustrated bodybuilders.
I might be wrong. But I once heard that Asians have genetically developed calf muscles due to the hard work their ancestors did in rice paddies.
Yeah and that's why us black folk run so fast because our ancestors were always chasing down rabbits with spears
It might've made 'em stronger, p, but not shaped and cut the way Pac's 'n Penalosa's are. You're either born with those, or you ain't.
