You should try shadowboxing sometime and then reassess your post.

 

You've obviously never boxed then. Shadowboxing is a more important indicator than you think. It's harder to focus on a target that isn't there and make it look good. When I used to box, you can tell which fighters had no hand/eye coordination by the way they shadowboxed.
