Lombard is going to knock him out. He is a nightmare matchup for Palhares. It's a fight that had to happen, though, even if its for a silly reason.
Really good match up. Both seemed like they where a bit unlucky in thier first fights. Lombard got robbed and Palhares got too confident once he had holdof his leg
Mmm. I smell Lombard decapitation. He's just as freak strong as Palhares, his judo is more the neutralizing sort which forces standup. Palhares can crack and all, I'm a fan even, but he's not comfortable enough with his standup to be successful in a match where he's forced to standup. I could be wrong, maybe his leg attack is a good enough weapon, Lombard being a Judoka, strong as an ox and expecting the leg attack... I mean that would say something, maybe an exclamation point to the fact that he's violently dangerous, and I cringe whenever I see him start to grab hold of a leg. I like, grab my legs in defense even haha. I just see Lombard neutralizing him, forcing standup and things going all wrong for Toquinho. Lombard is every bit as strong and dangerous. I'll straight up say I see it as a bad matchup stylewise for Palhares.
