Big difference between the takam joyce fought and the one chisora fought. Takam was 37 when he fought chisora and 40 when he fought joyce. That 3 years at that stage is massive as anyone who,s went through them years will know. Doesnt really make a lot of sense in that...these guys are classed as contenders because they want to be classed as contenders but chisora who,s around the same level isnt because its not really his aim. I dont think their aim really comes into it. Your either good enough to be a contender or you arent. Chisoras went out and fought everybody. Fury twice. David haye. Klitchko. Usyk. Parker. Whyte twice. Helenius. Takam. Pulev. Most of these other contenders would have a similar amount of losses but it doesnt make them any more of a contender because they chose not to fight any of these guys chisora has. I m not saying chisoras a world champ in waiting...but neither are any of them tbh. The whole point was these fights parker v chisora are much needed fights...because most of them have been avoiding each other for years. Say the 5th best heavyweight fighting the tenth best heavyweight...is a contender fight...to say otherwise is silly. Okay people say...chisoras not the tenth best heavyweight....no one can show me guys that have shown more in a ring not to warrant chisora as around tenth. None of the names people put forward have giving guys that are world champions or future world champions or ex world champions the fights chisora has. Until that happens...chisoras a contender...more so than most of them. As i said i m not a fan of chisora v parker 2. They need to go on and fight other guys that are hiding in the shadows. But the first one was exactly the type of fight the heavyweight divisions been needing for years.

The rematch that nobody wanted, cares about or understands. No controversy from the first fight, no belt, no beef, no rivalry, no nothing.
