I was as well, now i'm hoping for Parker vs AJ in January but any of the combo's will be good.

both fights are near enough 50-50 to me, probably just favour Parker and AJ atm

At last, Parker is fighting a decent opponent. This is a MASSIVE step up for him, and a dangerous fight. I look forward to it, if it comes off.

Great fight. This opens the door for Joshua vs Parker in early 2017. It will be a mega bout.

Parker will knock Takam out................Martin has zero ability and is a set-up for AJ to win the title. IBF taking IBF title away is really sick.................Wilder has refused to fight Povetkin three times now, EL POLLO Alvarez and Cotto has refused to fight their mandatory Golovkin after the WBC gave their word..................what word? Promoters really believe the fans are stupid.............

Isn't Joshua a lock to beat Martin for the IBF belt? If Joshua beats Takam, which it looks like he has a good chance to do, and Parker becomes the #1 mandatory to the IBF belt, then we could see Joshua vs Parker by late 2016 or early 2017. What a great fight that would be.

This is a much needed step up for Parker. I don't think this fight is a foregone conclusion. Takam is far better than anyone else Parker has fought. He'll be in with an opponent who has skills he hasn't seen and believes he can win.

I think Takam will win some early rounds like he did with Povetkin but eventually he'll tire and get drawn into Parker's kind of fight and get stopped late or lose a decision.

Parker will make a statement if he stops Takam, especially if he does it quicker than Povetkin.

Good fight. Takam should be the slight favourite here.

If he does stop him quicker then of course people will see that as a sign he's better than Povetkin, which in reality of course isn't necessarily true. But it would definitely be a statement that would make people take notice.

    Great fight indeed.
Parker has run over his opponents lately, but Takam is tough.
Parker has good ring generalship, but is sometimes getting hit to easy. Takam wil probably hit him hard and I wonder if Parker can take them.
If Parker wins he's the real deal!
