I spoke with Emanuel regularly at that time, and I don't ever recall him even remotely hinting at such a thing, on or off the record. (Not saying that you personally believed that, but I don't believe that for a second).

I think Wlad intended to face Chisora, but in the midst of all that negotiations began with Haye, which was the one big fight that existed for Wlad at that time, and ultimately wound up happening instead. In that sense, the situation with Chisora-Wlad-Haye has its fair share of similarities with Parker-Dubois-Usyk right now, especially in the event we do get Usyk-Dubois 2 next.

That is great to hear, I don't even mind if its just a light touch to keep his hand in and keep things ticking over while he waits for his title shot.

Its a possibility that its similar to the Opelu fight where he will just liven up a local card fighting someone outside the top 50.

I feel like it will be Huni. What happened to the situation with the WBO title?

I'd love it to be Kabayel, Bakole.

Parker, Joyce, AJ or Hrgovic would be good fights also.

The smart money days Huni or Okolie though both have high organisation rankings and are quite low risk.

As much as i would like to see dubois vs parker and usyk vs kabayel next - dubois parker was a purely voluntary thing, right? So no real obligation to repeat that matchup as far as i understand this situation :-(

Will be a shame if we don't see Parker V Kabayel if we get Dubois V Usyk.

    Tyson Fury

Despite being besties Joe has said he wouldn't turn down the fight

Turkey isn't giving Fury the money he needs anymore so Fury will be either fighting for fun or to retire off a win. I think he'll wait for a kabayel or dubious though.

I would like Kabayel or Hrgovic or AJ from that list.

Unfortunately that's boxing. Wilder did the same with Povetkin, Whyte did the same with Wallin etc. Would have liked to see both of those fights as well.

The injury with waiting for Fury to find his balls, lol. AJ won't risk anything until Fury's status is clear.
