why are people buying into the snake oil salesman? why would he risk the golden goose? they will make good money from the uk football chav market no matter what, so why a) risk his limited and protected fighter and b) pay any opponent a far wedge, when he needs neither of them for what his goals are, which is making money and satisfying his s*y obligations?

it is clear that this gravy train is going to be run as far and as hard as possible. last thing it needs is someone coming along who has even a a slim chance of messing it up.

that Coward will NEVER EVER fight Joshua. he is a belt Hijacker who will do what Cowards do: RUN! run for as Long as he can and squeeze every Cent out of his belt.
in other words: this man personifies EVERYTHING that is wrong with professional boxing!!

and trust me: he is fighting fujimoto NEXT!!

Yeah...it's the market's reaction's fault. Clearly AJ is fairly priced and everyone else is being a greedy douche.

I don't get how people expect Joshua to take a pay cut to unify the titles but expect Parker to get paid 5 times his career high to unify the titles.

A pay cut? Foh. Parker isn't a challenger. He owns a belt. Y'all talk about all of his money Joshua makes but he really isn't making what his fans say that he's making. He's making a few mil, but not the 20+ millions for every fight that his fans speak of. And Joshua isn't the hvw champion of the world. He owns two trinkets that he shouldn't even have. He's king of the U.K. fighters in terms of revenue and that's it.

That's the issue when you're a cash cow, and your fellow beltholders aren't. In this case the difference is huge, and they just want to cash in their belts basically.
Fans just want to see the fight happen, and don't really think it trough. They themselves wouldn't take a paycut either if they were in Joshi's position, but would want to get the biggest share if they were in Parker's too.

As for the thread title, Parker turns out to be a slow walker.

And that was just his minimum guarantee not including a percentage of the PPV sales, he must of made a lot more than the $13 mill guarantee.

Thing is parker got plenty of options, fight Browne in Australia in a packed stadium then fight Jennings in America live on espn and then fight povetkin I’m Russia and if he wins all those fights he’s built himself a nice resume and got plenty of exposure.

    Yes.
He's also got an equal chance of keeping his WBO belt longer than Joshua can keep his WBA/IBF belts.
If Joshua gets dethroned by someone else he might well be looking towards challenging Parker to bounce back and get a title.

Browne for a ton less money, less kudos, less opportunity. What a fool.

How many PPV buys did Parker/Fury do on Youtube again?

Browne is a $3 million fight.

Povetkin is a $4 mill fight.

    Fighting AJ is not urgent.

I hope Parker ends up Undisputed Champ if he ever gets those two Prima Donna pretenders to man up & fight him
