I think you take these losses harder than Parker does, Kiwi.

He'll be back & has his best wins ahead of him if matched correctly.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at who he can beat coming in off three decent wins instead of a loss.

There are no shortcuts in this sport.

You need to lay some groundwork to pull off big wins in fights like tonight - as Whyte has done with the opponents he has faced coming into this fight.

Do you want the best for the guy or not?

He would take 4 years even getting back in contention.

    4 years of head-smacks.

    He's rich. He's an ex-champ. RETIRE.

It won't take him four years. It will take him four fights.

Three straight kayos against hand-picked opponents + a solid win against a live opponent = a title shot if he's managed correctly.

He's not going to take many head-smacks against the guys I've got lined up for him.

He'll be the one doing the head-smacking.

This fight was the poster child of why championship fights should be 15 rounds

No Parker’s problem is the lack of A or B+ level skills.. He’s kind of fast.. Big but not physical can’t really cut off the ring..
Joshua has an A level jab and physical strength and B+ Power
Wilder has A Power and B+ Hand speed
Whyte is an B+ Level brawler to go along A physical strength along with heart..
    Povetkin has A power
Ortiz has B+ Power to go with his incredible boxing skills

This is nothing new.. Parker’s been looking pedestrian in his last 4 fights and he lacks a true killer instinct that’s needed to defeat any current Top 5 HW

His problem is that he just isn't good enough, it's been made clear every time he's stepped up.

    Yes.

    Lack of power

To be an elite HW you must carry bladdering power and Parker never has. Even against Andy Ruiz he was the lighter puncher in there.

So we can file Parker’s career under “never elite” and “flattered to deceive” based on KOs on the way up

I didn’t watch the fight as I resolved never to watch Parker again after the dull and cowardly way he survived against Joshua. Sounds like more of the same. He has no heart for it and needs to find something else to do other than boxing.

a few days ago you were all saying how Parker would destroy Whyte with his fast hands but now it's time to hang up the gloves?

If Parker did not have $12 mill in the bank it might be different.

But it will take YEARS to come back properly. Just retire, man.

Ortiz just demolished a bum Parker struggled with. Parker has been exposed as not world level.

Ortiz is a top 5 HW whilst Parker is Top 20

The main difference being punching power.

Lucas Browne would Bank some money and is an easy fight. I say take that fight then retire if you wish.
