I think Hopkins will win the return. Probably wont suffer the light knockdowns again, and is more tactically astute. Will have adjusted like he did in the later rounds of the first fight to outbox him.

Yep first time i think he was bit shocked by Pascal's sporadic attacks which in opening rounds are quick and powerful. Once he found timing and took the initiative away from Pascal he broke him down.

Pascal uses far to much lateral movement as well as throwing a lot into shots which is partly why he gasses.

So hard to see Pascal doing anything different.

I still think it will be a good fight mind...

Conversely, I think Pascal will be better prepared for Hopkins' tricks this time around as well. I see a more energy-conscious effort from him this time, more careful.

I'm not a fan of Hopkins personally, but I was guilty of writing him off as a fighter for the first fight too which clearly was rash. I'm still back Pascal for the rematch though. It's very easy to think of some fights in recent years where the loser (or not the winner) was controversial, yet disappointed and lost in the return bout.

But it's ok saying he will make a conscious effort to conserve energy but from round 4 onwards he did next to nothing and tbh for the first 4 rounds didn't exactly fight a high octane pace.

What will he do when Hopkins makes him fight? which he will there's no doubting Hopkins we treat round 1 like round 13. He's gonna have to do more then move around ring looking for odd blitz and then back to moving.

I love the bit at the end where Hopkins is staring out of the ring...

    I'm going with Pascal.
Being a big underdog, when the expectations aren't high is when B-Hop excels and goes to the well. He's favorite in many peoples eyes this time though. At his age, he's not going to have got any better from the last fight and I'm expecting Pascal to have improved. How can he not have learned after those lessons B-Hop gave him!

i dont really understand the psychology behind a boxer telling his opponent 'youre so good i think youre on drugs!'

or is he just saying it because floyd did and he couldnt think of anything else to say
