He is "overrated" because he has the obvious style to beat Floyd who is p4p No. 1. However, imo he would get his ass handed too him by a number of other fighters. Not in a beat down way. But he is a very think WW so i think Cotto's bodywork could get too him. I also think Cintron has a chance.

    Paul is good.......

    He will get even better.

Ive seen him fight a bunch of times now,as he was comming up and he is a natural,a born fighter who likes to actually fight.

He has the right attitude and some very special physical gifts........

Hes going to be tough for anyone right now,and given a bit more seasoning,he may rise to the P4P list......

    Good,honest,hard fighting kid......

I think that Williams has the advantage in height and reach over Mayweather, but he was also very sloppy in the second half of the Margarito fight.

Nah....every fighter has an off night! At this stage sometimes you OVERTRAIN and you can look lethargic and your timing can be off, but at the end of the day...Paul has PREFORMED at the highest level winning a world title against the BEST WW at the time in Marg. Paul still has some things left to prove as a champion, but he's passed the contender status with flying colors!

Agreed! I don't see Kermit winning this one but with his power he can land that one punch to put Paul to sleep. Paul does leave himself open when he is throwing those numerous combos, but he still has enough defensive tatics to not be hit flush or avoid shots altoghether. Paul can also "Square" himself up at times which will be a HUGE "no-no":nono against a power puncher like Kermit.

Marg is a really tall fighter for WW as well and Paul is pretty much dominating everyone except for the ELITE! And that's nothing to disregard b/c there is a GREAT talent pool in the WW division. Paul has a lot of skills. he's a VERY GOOD all around fighter. He has GREAT work rate and a great arsenal of punches. Size has NILL to do with his winning agaisnt everyone he's faught. it has to do with his constant pressure and high workrate that most can not handle.

Let's just say if Williams can take Cintron's punch it's all over for Kermit. It's the same reason Margo would put a beatdown on Cintron if they faced each other again.

Kerm has learned to deal with that. I believe that was a big technical weakness against marg the first time, and his corner also didnt know what to do when the right hand didnt drop marg right away, but cintron deals with that much better now. Steward has taught him to stay patient with the jab. Estrada took his punches for a while, suarez took his punches for a while, but eventually you can only take so many before your body quits. Not dropping a guy with one punch doesnt seem to be a huge problem for kerm anymore.

I don't know if Cintron wins against Williams. I think if Paul can take his shot, his pressure will make Cintron fold like he did against Margarito.
