Mayorga's skills are worse. Williams at least has a torrential pace and workrate to cover up any "technical" deficiencies.

With Paul Williams-Kelly Pavlik falling apart, Pac-Floyd falling apart and a vacant gap of big matches, I've been taking it easy.

Too much drama, not enough boxing. I'm hoping it'll pick up with the new year in play.

BTW I don't necessarily know if skills is the proper term for what we're discussing. Williams has good skills. Good power, hand speed, foot speed, ring awareness and wide array of punches he can use successfuly at any point in the fight. I think it's his technique.

We may need to discuss whose technique is worse.

Mayorga is a brawler, but that is not always a bad thing. He beat Forrest twice and made people think Mosely was shot.

Williams tries to play the boxer/puncher. His big flaws are his lack of defensive prowesss, and his tendency to fight like he is 5' 8" instead of 6' 3".

Prime Mayorga would knock Williams out becuase PW is entirely to wiling to stand and trade.
