Is it me or does it seem like weve just gone back in time a few years.
    Pac-MArquez still have unfinished business
Cotto just beat Margarito (as he was originally supposed to in the 1st fight)
Now people are Talking about Cotto-Mayweather (the super fight that should have happened had Cotto beaten Margo the 1st time)
Cotto-Williams is also being mentioned too

    Cotto don't want none.

Paul has been trying to get a fight with that motha****a since he beat Margaritoe. And all Cotto ever did was hide behind his promoter. Ain't gonna happen.

Talk all the **** you want but Cotto is an orthodox fighter and therefore the advantages that Lara, Quintana and Martinez had are out of the ****in window. It would be back to the same old ****... Pau raining down punches on Cotto like 40 days and 40 nights!

    Fight aint gonna happen. Period.

Paul Williams brings little to the table now. Chavez Jr for a fourth division title makes the most sense in risk/reward, particularly as Arum wants it. Alvarez too would be a good option to unify. Cotto can seek the Pac rematch after that for late 2012 when Pac's yet another year older.

I don't know how "he should" but as a boxing fan, I would sure appreciate that match up.

Didn't say those fights will happen, only what likely would happen if they ever did. Like Pac v Floyd. Not likely to ever happen.

Part of why boxing has few good or great fights.
Fighters and promoters only want sure things and refs and judges are in on the fix to help ensure that.

Paul Williams has to earn his spot, and he brings very little to the table
Cotto has many options now, I think Pac - Cotto 2 will happen, simply because it is another in-house fight for Arum
but we'll have Pac - JMM 4 before

Whoever lands the first solid shot wins. My guess is it's Cotto.

Cotto-Martinez at 154 sounds better. Williams looked bad vs. Lara and seems to have little left following that big KO. Martinez, despite being 36, has a lot more left and deserves a big PPV.
