Agreed! Like watching Williams and he doesnt get enough press coverage as it is without us Brits missing out on live fights for those who appreciate him!!!!
Williams is a real fighter. I remember when I first saw him fight for SRL, I knew he'd be trouble. He has a lot to work on and can be overrated. He showed he can come back better in his bouts with Quintana. First time he fought stupid and I predicted he'd lose that. Second time he fought a smart fighter based on range, timing, jabbing etc Williams deserves props. Margo should fight him. The man will fight anyone. Quintana was a dangerous defence but he took it and instead of cowering away or hiding he'd went for the immediate rematch. Instead of waiting on Margo, he made something happen with a fight at 160 and now he's at 154. Williams is a warrior.
He should unify 154. Paulie isn't a name but he is making a name out of actually making any sort of decent fight happen i.e. jump to 160 to show his tools, go down to 154 to become two division champ etc None of these are elite fights but it captures the imagination. After beating Philips he may be able to make the 154 fighters get in the ring with him. The 147 guys are wary of him. Too much risk for too little reward.
