Williams will eventually move to 168 one day. IMO Lucian Bute either pummel Williams for 12 rounds or knocks him out. Bute is underrated as a boxer as a very good boxer/puncher. His skills are on par with Kessler.

Boom I like pwill, unfortunately, HE HAS NOT FACED A BOXER WITH POWER, is what I keep mentioning, if his chin could hold up to someone like abraham or pavlik, with his activity, then I can honestly say he has a damn good chance at fighting in the higher weights. As of now, I still think, he get knocked out cold by an abraham or pavlik.
Williams would not be effective at 168, I don't think. His maximum is 160, and that's pushing it in the event he faces a puncher.
Judging from what I have seen of Bute, the only thing that he has in comment with Kessler is that neither man has done in the ring the things that that get credit for from thier fans outside the ring. Not to mention that Bute will have his hands full fighting the other supermiddleweights, instead of making posts about a fighter that has never even fought at the weight and has never been higher then 157 a full 11 pounds south of supermiddleweight. Pwill cant even get to 160 at this point but you have him fighting at 168:huh
Didn't HBO report that PTP blew up nearly 20 lbs on fight night for his first bout against Quintana? Wasn't that reason used as an excuse to why he lost?
i have williams taking this....IF and thats a BIG IF he can bang at 168 and his chin can take shots from 168 fighters.....williams will learn with more expierence to use his reach advantage more in fights......i think thats how he would beat bute....
Pwill was 161 in the first fight and 156 at fight time the second fight...Pwill didnt make any excuses for the lost in the first fight, he just said it was a off night and Quintana fought a good fight. But even at 161 he of course weight in at 147 which is a tell tell sign that Williams likely didnt train well, being that at fight time of his middleweight fights with Kolle and Phillips he was 165 and 164 at fight time.
PWill fanboys talk about Williams as if he's going to be a 5 time division champion, why not a fantasy matchup between Bute and Williams? Not to mention P. Williams has said that he's willing to fight anyone in 147-168, although I doubt he can make 147 anymore. He's willing to fight Abraham or Pavlik who are boardline SMW's. And PWill is already used to middleweight, he can make 162, or 163 no problem.

How many other WW's would you even consider in one of these threads? Cotto vs. Pavlik? Shane vs. Dawson? Floyd vs. Abraham?
