How is this funny? Paul Williams is 6'3 with a 82" reach, Bute is 6'2 with a 72" reach, a fight that can happen soon. A lot of his fans says he is going to be great as Thomas Hearns, Roberto Duran, and Sugar Ray Leonard, I don't buy that. For one he a lot of holes in his boxing game, and two he trained only 3 years as an amatuer. To say he's the next best thing in boxing is delusional, I'll wait til he fights an A class opponent before making that judgement. Besides given all the hype Williams has been getting I'm pretty sure Bute would fight Williams if he ever gets a voluntary defense, and you know Williams, he wants big fights.

Pretty much what it seems like . Paul's a hell of a matchup for anyone at 147-154, and a good deal of 160 fighters. Let's see him actually get the big fights there before we start putting him up with quality fighters 2-3 divisions higher than his best. :thumbsup
Williams is the best from 147-154. No question in my mind. He'd beat anyone, more importantly - he'd fight anyone. I can see him beating most, if not all at 160 but 168 might be too far at this stage.
