If the Winky who fought Trinidad turns up then Winky will out box Williams just like Quintana did.

But he has had 1 1/2 years out and hasn't, in my opinion, looked anything special since the Tito fight.

I'll stick my neck on the line and say Williams by KO in the mid - late rounds.

I agree. I think "outwork" is the key word here. Winky has been away for so long, it's just hard to get a good gauge on him. And even if he hasn't lost anything, he might still show a lot of rust in this fight as it will be his first one since July 2007. I think it's a bad move for Winky to fight PW for his first fight back.

Winky's jab and defense should play a roll in this one but i think Williams will just "outwork" him. PW might not look great but his activity will probably get him the decision. But i wouldn't be shocked one bit if Winky puts on a schooling either.

I like this fight and I like both fighters. Winky has been out for so long that the big question is; did Winky rest, or did Winky rust? If Winky can still fight at the level he was at in the Taylor fight, Williams is taking a big "L" in this one.

A Wright win would do more for the middleweight division than a Williams win. Any version of Winky that can beat Paul Williams takes the number one contender spot away from Arthur Abraham. It would set up Pavlik/Wright for this summer, and that is a fight that the Pavlik Nation has waited YEARS to see. If Williams wins, the public perception will be that all he did was beat an old and faded light middleweight.

All the news right now claims these two are the most feared, most avoided fighters in the world. What a load of bull****! Both have turned down multi-million dollar pay days for a Pavlik fight. Winky has done that multiple times.

Its hard to pick one because Winky has been inactive for so long. Based on that I would say Williams by UD but an upset won't surprise me. It could go from one extreme to the other. It would be nice to see some Winky sparring footage

Ya, sparring video would be good. I wish Winky would have done that tune up awhile back.

Winky's bodywork will be the difference. He is an underrated body puncher and Williams is a big target. Also PW wont be able to get to his body, Winky's Defense is too good.
