    Paulie Malignaggi is taking up italian citizenship. He is going to fight for the Italian title at Welterweight, then wants to fight Matthew Hatton in England.

    i cant balme him and good luck with it..

    but if he decides to quit..mtv needs to holler at him fopr sure..he is basically Jersey Shore!!

    If Hatton beats (here's my lame attempt to spell his name) Nuzchenko he wants to fight for a world title. If he loses, he won't be Euro champ. So it looks unlikely Paulie vs Hatton will happen, unless Hatton wins against Nuz and instead of fighting for a world title defends against Paulie, which I guess would earn him a good wage.

    I hope this fight happens in England anyway :yep

    Good idea from Paulie. He's found his level so it would be good for him to do something to put on the mantelpiece i.e. Italian and Euro 147 title.

    There would be an interesting angle in Paulie fighting Matthew too.

    I doubt this fight will ever happen. Malignaggi has to fight another four times in Europe before he's eligible to fight for the EBU. No guarantees Hatton will still be the champ by then.

    As someone once said about a possible Malignaggi/Mitchell fight...."Paulie by brutal decision"

    Although he did say he was being considered for the lead in a movie so those who are mentioning him getting into TV might see that happen :deal
