Yes. Absolutely. It could be a real good match....Or maybe "You can't teach an old dog new tricks" and Floyd Sr. is wasting his time...
lol, and what are malignaggi's biggest wins? the koysta win is a better win than if malignaggi had beaten cotto.
no. i'm confident hatton will be back on form for this. depends if you can afford to lose the money i reckon, but 2-1 seems short to me.
Anyone who said Tszyu was shot needs to watch the fight again. A shot version of Tszyu wouldn't go six rounds - courtesy of a broken ribcage. I would accept that Kostya wasn't at his absolute peak, but he was certainly the equal of the DLH version that fought Floyd, and better than the Mosley that fought Cotto.
I am not big fan of Paula, but if he keeps hatton on the outside and his hands hold up, than he wins by UD. Somebody commented that this was Paula's biggest fight, indeed it is. But there is a lot of implications for Hatton. Hatton wants Floyd as bad Vitali wants Lewis. And If he wins maybe Floyd comes back, and with Sr. Maywheather on Hatton's side it adds to the drama and of course the $$$$.
I wouldn't put money on Malignaggi if I was you. Someone said 50/50 fight here but trust me there's a reason the bookies make him a 2/1 underdog...it's not 50/50 at all.
I think it is a great risk to take. especially with the earnings of the risk. Paulie's style drives hatton nuts. Look at the collazo fight- look at the PBF fight. A fighter who utilizes slick jab/combos drive Hatton banana sandwich!! It wasn't until floyd started laying on the jab that he set up the ko... Collazo dominated multiple rounds using jabs and combos off of the jab. Good bet I know Im taking the odds!!
Collazo had MILES more power than Paulie and was a southpaw. Hatton was also out of shape - how difficult is it to grasp? Comparing Paulie to Mayweather is stupid - one is hittable, the other ain't!
Paulies movement isn't anywhere near as good as some people seem to think and if he can't move out of the way and he hasn't got the pop to keep Hatton off him I think he's in for a long night.
