Paulie Malignaggi

Paulie is a solid fighter. I like him. He talks alot of ****, but dude has skills and that you can't deny.

Anyone who rates Paulie's ability highly must think the post-Mayweather version of Ricky Hatton was the second coming of Sugar Ray Robinson.

 

What fighter DOESNT? It isn't like he is Mayweather saying his is #1 pfp atg! He says what he needs, embellishes in his favor to make fights happen. When asked about his candid opinion of other fighters, or matchups, he has one of the most accurate and intelligent appraisals i have seen.

Had he had better management, and not had crippling injuries early in his career, I think he would have been a superstar.

Why do people act like Cotto completely kicked Malignaggi's ass ? That was one of Cotto's most competitive fights at 140. One judge gave Malignaggi 5 rounds (I gave him 4) He also fought from the 2nd round on with a broken orbital bone in his face! I mean **** I realize he's not an A fighter, but why is it so hard to give the man his props ?
