    I just watched the fight. I had no bias, as I really am neutral on both guys. I was actually shocked at what I saw. Not only do I feel Golovkin won, but I was surprised at how he dominated. The rounds were competitive, but I think he took 9 of them. To me, Canelo was just a slow plodder, landing some hard potshots, but mostly being jabbed to death and outworked. Terrible decision.

    I just watched the fight again with no commentary myself.

    On first showing I thought Canelo had won some of the earlier rounds but the color commentary from HBO influenced my thoughts somewhat.

    However watching it again, GGG was in full control throughout the entire fight and jabbed Canelo's head off at will and of course nearly knocked him out in the championship rounds.

    How anyone can claim Canelo won and GGG lost in the ring is a mystery.

    Of course on paper it says he won, but in the ring he received a first class GGG schooling.

    i love the way some fan boys on this forum believe they know more about boxing than the majority of people who make a living off of boxing and watch 100 if not 1000's of fights.
