It was fine, yeah, you're right but I think Pavlik can be better than "fine". Like I said earlier, I think Pavlik could have turned out to be a similar fighter to Monzon, with an utterly dominating jab and great fundamental skills. Instead, he hasn't progressed technically and as he's stepped up in quality, we've seen less and less.

Part of the blame is Pavlik's, yes, but I also think Loew deserves criticism for not making Pavlik the dominant champion he should have been. At one point, he had the potential to become that but Loew hasn't helped him progress.

My level of expertise? I'm just a fan who knows about the sport. I know what level Pavlik was on, I know where he is now and I know what he hasn't improved and, more importantly, why he hasn't improved. I can't list off the CV that Loew would be able to, no, but I believe he's made many mistakes with Pavlik.

It's not me who has to prove anything though. The proof that I'm right is with the clear regression in Pavlik's career. Look at his pre-world title fights. Nobody can say he's improved since then.
