At this stage Degale bullies Pavlik, too young and too strong

Degale had a lot of leverage when negotiating his contract coming out of the Olympics, so ****** needs UK PPV pretty much every time Degale fights, or he doesn't make a dime.

    This is a genuine offer

    :deal

That is total bull****. Degale would widely outpoint Pavlik and a fight with Bute with flush down the toilet! I sure hope they don't put Pavlik in with Degale.

Pavlik is way past his sell by date, but i still see him outboxing then stopping Degale within 5 rounds.
Like already said,Frank won't chance his golden goose against Pavlik.

I don't think it would happen..

I think DeGale could definitely beat him though..

DeGale would exploit every flaw that Pavlik has. A good fighter, yes, but his style wouldn't mesh well with DeGale's. Especially as DeGale would be back to counter punching with Pavlik chasing him down.

I think Degales getting way too much credit. As much as i like Groves,he's no more than a domestic, maybe Euro level fighter, and it doesn't matter whether people think Degale underperformed that night or not,Groves won the fight.
What will Degale have that Pavlik hasn't seen and dealt with before ?
You need two things too discourage and/or frustrate Pavlik, thats power and elusiveness,i don't think Degale has either at World level.

Degale has better movement than Lopez
Degale has better hand speed and accuracy than Lopez
Degale has better combos than Lopez

I would say that Pavlik needs to come at his best to beat Degale. Pavlik's style is perfect for Degale.

Dont forget that Degale fights southpaw like Martinez and is bigger than maravilla and has some some similarity to calzaghes. Degale would decision Pavlik easy

    That's what I see when I watch James Degale, a Martinez/Calzaghe hybrid. ATG. :-(

    Makes Sense.
Prescott beats Khan and Khan gets MAB,a big beatable name.
Groves beats Degale and Degale gets Kelly, also beatable.
    Brilliant stuff from ******

I think many people can agree that Degale did win that fight by at least 1 or 2 rounds...

Anyway, I wasn't impressed last time I saw Pavlik.

Who knows whats going to happen.

I know don't think it would be much of an easy win though.

    1. Degale was not hurt once by Groves, not sure if Pavlik could put a dent in James (fully fledged 168lber) seeing as Pav is moving up and Degale chin looks to be solid.

    2. Groves boxed on the backfoot negating Degale's strength, Pavlik fights going forward which plays into Degale's hands. I think Pavlik would win but James is too high risk, low reward at this point in boths career.
