He'll be there in spirit. But seriously I like the guy just dont think he'll ever be the same again. Sometimes when a fighter takes a beatdown like Bhop gave him the mental scars never heal.
They're calling this a Showtime tournament, but Sauerland was the brains behind it. That snake built a huge myth around Abraham by creating the illusion that Pavlik ducked Arthur. Sauerland could not allow Pavlik in the tournament because that would prove Kelly was more than willing to fight Abraham, and that would destroy the myth.
Hes dead!!?? u wasnt sayin dat back then when Kelly was destroying evryone in front of him and your champion calzaghe waz running like a ***** scared like hell and didnt want no part of him... Now dat he gets beat by a legend like bernard, evryone wants 2 say hes done!!
Not necessarily. If Kelly gets his act together, he stays at 160 and CLEANS OUT the division. He fights every three months and goes down a list of the top MWS and beats them all, one by one, unifying in the process. That's the best option for him now. Big fights will come their way once PW eventually moves up and some contenders come through. If he puts weight-hopping and money-hunger aside and goes back to basics, in a couple of years time he'll be in prime position to fight the best in any division. I fear it won't happen. Kelly seems to have developed a bit of an attitude problem, which is a big shame, because I thought he was a good lad.

Do you think the myth of Arthur Abraham was built around fighting Raymond Joval's left overs? There's at least on outside chance that you may have picked up on it, but the situation irritates me:yep
God willing we're all here in 2012....I bet you'll still be going with it. As per whether or not, Pavlik NEEDED this tournament? I don't necessarily believe so. Chad Dawson, Lucian Bute, Librado Andrade, Paul Williams, Felix Sturm and Winky Wright to name a few are still out there for Pavlik. Andrade would probably be an easy fight since he's GBP based and Arum seems to be working well with them. The rest are shaky but ultimately managable fights. Danny Jacobs by the time this tournament is in the real swing of things will probably be ready and Pavlik could fight him. Lara could come up to 160 and you never know who's going to "emerge" as they say. The question is WHETHER they get done.
If I'm wrong, then what did AA build his rep on? Elvin Ayala? Sebastian Demers? #29 ranked Mahir Oral? Maybe he got this huge rep because it took him 16 rounds over 2 fights to do what Pavlik did to Miranda in 7 rounds? Where did this current reputation come from?
Quite right I wasnt, I too was fooled into thinking he was the next big thing, I was wrong I admit that, thankyou
He is the one that has no clue.....why zhit on the tournament? he should worry about fighting a real MW and stop talking zhit.....and stop drinking too
:rofl He should have taken the fight with Abraham while he had the chance. Pavlik doesn't believe in himself anymore. Hopkins really "executed" him...
