he needs to be at his best. a good showing means some more big fights big $$ so he can live comfortably after his career ends. If he is in good condition I would not be surprised if he rocks ward once or twice. Pavlik still has the power and has never been ktfo. the one time he was hurt against taylor he showed great heart. I think too many people are too comfortable thinking pavlik is done. He is a live dog.

Yeah because Pavlik even as a complete drunk in the ring has never been knocked out. I heard the same chatter right before he went into the ring with Miranda. All I'm saying is the hunger is back that he had right before the Taylor fight. For anyone go say he's a pushover is a fool.

Care to elucidate how you know Kelly is training harder than ever and has the hunger back? Serious question. I hope he stayed in Oxnard to do some extra training on technique. He is going to need to be a lot more fluid with his new found tools than he exhibited in his last fight.

Nah. Ward is just stylistically wrong for him.

If I were him I'd take the money here. Give it an effort and if he stays motivated, plan some decent fights in the future for a final run before hitting his mid 30s.
