We wanted to believe, but to see him not handily out box AA? That was just sad. I'm afraid he'll finish up the tourney for the money though. :-(
You think there was a big difference between the Taylor that went 12 with KP and the Taylor that went almost 12 with AA. Both were 166 pound Taylors?
Ya -- it's time for people to tell Jermain the truth, and the truth is he's done. Sad, but true. Hopkins ruins fighters. Pavlik ruins fighters. Jermain find each guy TWICE! What I find ridiculous is all the people hyping AA as if he did some great thing. Think about who LuJaun Simon is, think about who JT used to be, and then consider the fact that Jermain did not do as well against AA as Simon did. Let that sink in bro!
I know you asked Boo, but my opinion (I know you care), is the Pav re-match was Taylor's last great stand. I truly believe he left it all right there. I mean ****, dude (although I prayed for him to return to form) had only beaten Shot ass Lacy (and not by much!!) since "beatin" Spinks in May of 2007. In short, IMO, HELLLLLL NAHHHH!!!!
I have come to realize that you don't take compliments very well.. So, I will just enjoy this without much remark.
True! JT looked as if he was fighting nervous, either because of AA's power or JT was nervous about running out of gas!!
