But after Lacy he had a good showing against Froch until he gassed. And in the Froch fight his form was the best I had seen it in a while. Boo feel free to chime in at anytime.
As ol'Winston would say in this case: This content is protected "Let's not start smoking each other's Pipe quite yet"
Yeah!!! Against Froch!!! I mean got damn!!!! LOL! J/K...a little bit...I did get some hope back and enjoyed the **** out of seein' JT blast the Cave Man in the face each time he even thought to try that upper cut, BUT gettin' his brains rattled AGAIN sure as **** couldn't have helped much and considering he had to sleep each night knowin' he was fittin' to fight a dude that KO'd Miranda (Pav was the only previous to do so)....I guess he thought he'd just jab the **** out of AA's guard?:!:
Yeah but then he went on to go almost another 12 with AA. He was getting outboxed by AA. AA defence is something else. Pavlik outboxed him and so did Cory Spinks so.... From the outset AA looked stronger then JT. The change to 168 has helped AA imo. He is a better fighter for it.
True! But I think it may be in everybodies best interst to go with the guy with the least amount of medical issues and/or medial excuses! It's a pick'em fight but good conditioning is whats gonna win this fight!
Hopkins, Hopkins, Wright, Ouma, Spinks, Pavlik, Pavlik. That's the line up Jermain faced prior to facing Froch! In addition he had 3 different trainers. I think there are a bunch of factors that conspired to ruin JT. One thing that bothered me a lot the other night is that between rounds JT said he could see the right hand coming "everytime." Now how come the kid who beat Hopkins TWICE could not do anything about a right hand he could see coming "everytime." And, AA was wide open to right hands all night long. Jermain used to make opponents pay heavy dues for their defensive lapses. The other night Jermain either could not pull the trigger, or wasn't aware of the openings. Maybe it was a little of both. Either way, I saw a shot fighter in the ring, and it was obvious by the 3rd round.
Im'a put it like this, my friend, Congratulations to AA for the KO win and BIG points to start the Super Six, but tell me JT didn't look pretty bad compared to before he lost 4 out of 5 fights?
True! I've seen JT on numerous occasions slip to the left when the straight right comes and JT comes up with an uppercut!! He only did it one time in that fight!!!
I think he couldn't get around that Guard. AA is a better fighter then you give him credit for. he is explosive when countering out of the Shell. JT was afraid to go around to the body b/c the straights was touching him. To say you saw a better jermain in the second Pav/Taylor fight, as opposed to the AA/JT fight is a bit bias boo
remember the last 2 rounds of the KP/JT 2, I had the fight a draw up until 10. Then KP wins the 11th and 12th to win the fight. That's the same JT man.
I don't agree with boo alot but I agree on JT looked shot and in the second Pavlik fight he looked pretty good!
Know what else drove me ****in' insane??! (we all saw your "joke" AA Drwarf thread and the pic there in) Why did JT fight so "short"!!!??? I mean once they were in the ring and in fighting stances, they were the same height!! Pavlik will NOT do this. He WILL fight tall, and I believe would make a world of difference.
