    Kessler v Pavlik

I would pay good money to see that. There are lots of good young middleweights at the moment, and I reckon it will be an immensely strong division in 2 years time, but the likes of Green, Lee etc. are a little inexperienced at the moment. But if Pavlik is to become a genuine HoF contender, the fights to make a legacy will be there for him in the near future.

At age 25, Pavlik is the undefeated, recognized middleweight champion with a freakish KO percentage. At the same age, where was Marvin Halger? Where was Hopkins? It is way to early to come to any conclusions about Pavlik's status. His one bad moment in the first fight with Taylor is regarded by so many as a certain indicator that all the great MW's from the past would knock him out, just as many people draw silly conclusions from Wlad's losses. Pavlik may be on his way to greatness, he certainly has mastered an effective style that works for his body type and has the work ehtic for a great career.

By laying in his corner playing 'rope a dope' during the 7th round in the first fight? I know. Second fight. Robbery. The ESB offical mantra.....

"Became the first man to stop veteran former junior middleweight titlist Bronco McKart, scoring a sixth-round TKO in the debut of OLN's "Fight Night" series last month. However, Pavlik has had such problems making weight that he's moving up to super middleweight, where he'll debut on another OLN card."

This guy was definately considering moving up in weight

Almost a good post. ;) First part. LOSS DOES NOT EQUAL EXPOSED! :bart You are beginning to buy into the dark side of the EBS force. Exposed would be if Abraham got in the ring with Pavlik and was enough better that he could play with him and totally dictate the fight. Losing 7-5 would not be "exposed" as some people would claim afterwards. You "expose" a fraud. Pavlik is no fraud. He is the best there is at 160 right now. Calzaghe says Sturm and Abraham won't fight Pavlik. Do you think Calzaghe considers Pavlik a fraud?

Second part of the post indicates you haven't been converted to the dark side of EBS yet. There is still hope.

That article was from 06. Kelly has, even recently, publically stated that he intends on unifying the titles at 160 and then and only then, moving up.

    Gotya.

I think most fighters who struggle to make weight say they plan on moving up, until they're ready to setup their next fight.

I dont think there is any exposing of Kelly, he is a solid, powerful middleweight with leaky defense but a solid chin. So if he face an elite, slick boxer, yeah he will bad and may lose a UD but he won't be exposed because thats something that it already apparent...
