It's not as though the undercard will in any way make up for the lackluster main event. Arum's got a lot of chutzpah.
Arum should have handed this off to Versus and save some face on this suckfest. At least on basic cable, this lame mismatch would seem a slightly forgivable.
you know...at least Pavlik knocks his opponents out. He actually fights to knock his opponents out. That's what his fans pay for and they're happy to do it. Anyone who bought the Baldomir/Mayweather PPV knows what it means to waste $50.00 of your hard earned money on a piece of crap. So there are far worse things than purchasing a Pavlik PPV.
I wish I knew...honestly, I have a lot of respect for Kelly, but this move looks really bad. Why would he abandon the PW fight and take on a journeyman a week later. Like I said, I have great respect for all that Kelly has accomplished in the ring, but this looks really suspect.
I was a big fan of his, he was taken to school by B-Hop, but I thought somthing good was going to come of that....maybe make him more motivated and maybe even try to pick up or learns a little more all around skills....however the exact opposite has happend. This fight with Pwill could have easily had him back on the map in the boxing world, but he of course once again he pulls out of the fight and is now fighting a no body in which we will have to pay 40 to see. What a waste of talent.
It's hard to feel bad for those idiots dumb enough to spend their kid's diaper money on these horrendous ppv shams. Still, arum and the fertittas got to go. The whole ppv model is obsolete, and so are their dirty business practices.
