Pavlik said to Lowe at a certain point that he couldn't get off b'cause he couldn't find him or have punching room. BIG SURPRISE. There were people around here that predicted that Bernard would steal that punching room and would connect time and time again as Pavlik would try to set him up for the big shot. All Lowe could say was to double jab to set up the right hand but Pavlik had no lateral movement, no spinning ability, no positioning to get off so.. He didn't get off! Pavlik is still a tough SOB and he may develop into a very good boxer and still a big puncher. Happens that styles make fights and you gat to have the flexibility, jazz-like improvisational ability and adaptability on real time basis to beat a tricky fox.

I'm gonna have to speak with the mods about instituting a post count requirement before you can make new threads cuz this is absolutely ridiculous.

He also said to Pavlik in the mid to late rounds 'do what calzaghe did' :rofl:rofl:rofl omfg. Yeah sure Jack I will just wish for better movement more speed and a better boxing brain! That should get me through.

Round 9 'do what tyson did'
Round 10 'do what ali did'
Round 11 'do what jones did'
Round 12 'do what robinson did'
Jack would have probably went with them as his advice as it got worse. :-(

I resent the sentiment that the outcome/result of this fight was programmed. God Damn, Peeps-this was a great fight for boxing. Hell, I'm a Pavlik fan and I'm happy with the result becauseof that very reason: An aging boxing legend proves resilient and defeats a young undefeated champion. What more could you ask for? I'm also a DLH fan and wouldn't mind watchin' Manny put a whoopin' on Oscar's ass for that very reason. Outcomes like these are just plain great for boxing for many reasons. I'm by far a fan of our great sport any effin' day over that of any individual fighter.

I'm not thinking he took A dive whatever cogent coherence, clairvoyance or "goofiness" -not really led me to read pavliks and the body language of the fight inside out I now feel as of recently led me to see Pavlik wanted to win.:good
