rumsfeld c'mon man you know better. Pavlik beat a prime RJ at 168. No way he is waay 2 slow, not enough head or footmovement, to get out the way of RJ shots. This would b embarrassing on pavliks part, he would look like a fool all night

Pavlik by ko now. A prime rjj i say wins 116-112 but i still think Kelly has a punchers chance because rjj's chin isnt all that great and pavlik can bang.

I think the whole fight BK, he is 2 slow I doubt he would b able 2 land any bombs on RJ in his prime.. He is very easy to hit, if Jermain Taylor was able to hit him a lot. imagine wat a younger faster harder hitting Jones would do. Unless when you say 2 round your only expecting it to last that long:lol:

:good Yup, Jones's blinding hand speed, big power, and accuracy coupled with Pavlik's straight-up stance, lack of head movement, and lack of speed equal an early knockout for Roy Jones.

Right now Pavlik UD, Prime for Prime Roy goes to prison for manslaughter, Pavlik is to basic for Roy. Also Pavlik would be throwing the first punch which would mean he would get countered and pot shotted then blasted out

Interesting that you think Pavlik wouldn't stop Jones, given Jones recent history and Pavlik's Power Punching rep.

I can see Roy getting stopped I have no problem with somebody suggesting that, Roy did take some big shots from Tarvar in the 3rd fight and was also hit by Tito (although not as hard a hitter at the weight he could still pop) I think he has the same chance of making the distance as bein Ko'd, Alot of people blow the TKO by Tarver and the KO by Johnson a little out of proportion, although Pavlik is a very heavy hitter

    Rummy, are you serious ?

Did you go to the mushroom or did you ingest the mushroom?

Current Roy is nearly a complete unknown as he's done nothing of note since he began his 'comeback'. (Overaged and overweight Tito doesn't count).

So I wouldn't hazzard a guess as to what would happen today.

    But prime Roy?

He could win ever single round, and he could probably pick ANY round to stop the contest.

Kelly's not bad, and he IS improving, but the current version doesn't belong in the same sentence, much less the same ring, as Jones.

Lay off the shrooms Geoff. :rofl

    Prime-Prime.

Pavlik lasts however long Roy feels like making it last, it would be a brutal domination.

Roy Jones Jr clean KO 4

Prime RJJ, like others have said, would make this a no-contest. It would be "IF" he would get knocked out but "WHEN" would he get knocked out.
