Pavlik/Abraham has been tenatively scheduled for January '09 for a long time. Both guys have had mandatories to fight, Abraham needed US exposure, and Arum wants it on HBO. Just a lot of little details to work out, but it's on now that AA beat Miranda in spectaclar fashion. I am elated by that result! I know it's pure nuthuggery, but I'm excited as hell about having had the priviledge of watching Kelly Pavlik work his way from Bronco McKart to the undisputed middleweight championship of the world in 2 1/2 years! If AA had lost the fight would not be happening.
If this fight does not happen I will be extremely disappointed, AA wants either Hoya or Pavlik seeing that Hoya fight most likely wont happen he should fight Pavlik which will undoubtably be one of the best middleweight fights in a long time.
LET'S DO THIS! I favor Pavlik. Some of the punches Miranda got hit with, Hellen Keller could have seen coming.
