    I still think Pavlik has the style to beat Joe Calzaghe. I didnt think Hopkins at his age could keep up the pace with young Pavlik. Boy was I wrong. :patsch Anyways I hope Jones kicks his ass before he retires. :bbb

    Pavlik is to slow to even dream about beating calzaghe :rofl he would get beat like lacy on last nights performance unlike pavlik joe beat bhop landing over 2-1 shots on him.

    Joe whips kelly like he was his daddy :good

    Pavlik is so slow and is totally useless at above 160, you were wrong and just refuse to accept it.

    I was wrong with my Hopkins/Pavlik prediction but Calzaghe has a different style and I think Pavlik will be more effective against Joe.

    Pavlik is proven as a poor fighter above 160 compared to his performances at 160, unless Joe cuts off his arms he aint making 160 so this fight will never happen, Pavlik has been exposed and doesn't deserve a fight with Joe.

    Did you not see him lose almost every round against a 43 year old man?

    They have different styles and I doubt Joe can wobble Pavlik since he has overrated power. Pavlik will walk through that weak stuff and get his shots in.

    You have no clue about style matchup in boxing do you...Money...then STYLE matchups...then Venue are the three leading causes to alot of fights not being made...It was rumored around boxing for years that Erik Morelas wouldnt fight slick boxers, and after the Raheem fight we found out why...Its been rumored that Jones wouldnt fight big punchers, after the fight with Tarver it had me wondering was there truth to that...Style matchups are huge and one of the things that dont get enough talk time on this site...

    Calzaghe is a walk in fighter that throws fast but WIDE arm shots...Pavlik is a one two fighter that throws his punches right down the middle...That would to a point nullify Joes speed advantage. Lacy two was a guy that threw wide shots. I think that it would look more like Joe vs Kessler then Joe vs Lacy. I believe that Kelly has great one punch power then Kessler and that could tilt the fight in his favor. At any rate Kelly would offer more of a fight then Jones, I think that if Jones is to win vs Joe it will be do to counterpunching, and catching Joe throwing one of those wide shots.

    Yeah but how quick was B-Hop compared to Pavlik imagine how much quicker Calzaghe would look, it would be crazy ****, Pavlik would just get slapped relentlessly for 12 rounds.

    Anyway this fight will never happen so im not debating it anymore, Calzaghe has nothing to gain from this and Pavlik needs to go back to 160.
