By sticking and moving, something Taylor is unfamiliar with. Taylor has routinely allowed himself to be pushed into a corner, and not always by big strong opponents like Pavlik. He was forced onto the ropes repeatedly by Wright and Ouma

Pavlik wouldn't be able to bully Kessler the way he did to against Miranda and Taylor, because Kessler is more well schooled and effective at using angles than either of them

Kessler isn't particularly flashy and isn't incredible in any one category but he is a very well schooled and fundamentally sound boxer which you can't say about Taylor or Miranda

In terms of handspeed, yes he is about as fast and his superior punching technique allows him deliver faster and more accurate punches than Taylor. As far as my comment about athletic ability, athletic ability isn't just purely about speed. Kessler is more balanced and coordinated than Taylor in the boxing ring which is a part of athletic ability

I agree that Kessler is well schooled but since he doesn't show much upper body movement he will eventually get hit by a 1+2 combination from Pavlik that can hurt him.

He only looks faster because up against people that are slow as ****.

Calzaghe will make Kessler look slow.

I agree that Calzaghe is going to beat Kessler decisively. But who has Taylor fought that is fast aside from Spinks and Ouma, both of whom were clearly faster than him? The only notable opponents that Taylor has looked quick against were an aging Hopkins and and Pavlik who nobody will ever mistake for being fast. Kessler is quick compared to anyone that Taylor has looked quick against

Kessler would beat Pavlik with ease.

I mean they say who has Kessler beat he beat Mundine easy who is far more techniquely advanced than Pavlik.

Mundine ripped Sam Soliman and beat Danny Green aswell so i feel Kessler gets constantly undervalued on this site as where as soon as a USA fighter beats someone he is suddenly a

    Pavlik vs Hearns type guy.

Fans on here are getting out of hand.

Kessler would school Pavlik because Kessler is naturally bigger more gifted and has a chin.

I doubt that .........Calzaghe isn't going to beat Kessler decisively maybe he will win but Kessler isn't going to Wales to be a punchingbag. (He's no Manfredo)

As for Pavlik.....hhhmmm I maybe have to see more of him to be sure but right now I don't see him anywhere near Calzaghe or Kessler yet :bbb
