Kelly could get BEAT THE **** DOWN if he isn't careful. Bhop is old, no doubt, but he is probably the smartest guy in the ring boxing has seen in a while. He pulled that Tarver victory out of nowhere, and is more than capable of whippin KP's ass. It isn't likely, but he isn't washed up to the point where Pavlik can go in there worrying about other ****.

Calzone and his daddy want nothing to do with any elite fighters in their prime. Kessler was the closest they were willing to go but thats only because Kessler is not elite. He is a good fighter, but nothing more. Calzaghe and his daddy could have fought Hopkins, Jones, etc 6-8 years ago but they chose to stay in Europe and con everyone into thinking they were something they are not, all the while they were keeping Joe fresh and waiting till all the elites with big names got old. It was actually very smart from a business point of view but Calslappy is heavily ovverated. Oh, and claiming greatness after beating the insanely poopy Jeff Lacy was a huge LOL.

pavlik just needs to shut the **** up about that. Correct me if I am wrong, but I clearly remember calzaghe/jones being setup and talked about a long, long time ago. Plus, joe is going to have a low risk, high reward fight against jones (a lot easier than hopkins thats for sure). bigger money, fighting a past his prime guy, why the **** would he fight pavlik over jones again? and they will eventually meet up as I am seeing calzaghe beating jones, and pavlik beating bernard.
AFTER Pavlik/Hopkins was announced, SUDDENLY Joe said he MIGHT fight again at SMW one more time. He is PRAYING that Kelly doesn't get past Bhop, then he can say that he WOULD have fought him. If Kelly does little more that SQUEAK by Bhop then Calzaghe MIGHT fight him. If Kelly stops or wins convincingly, Joe will trot out his retirement speech. :deal

But he doesnt really need to fight pavlik, so if he doesnt I am not going to say he ducked him. Kelly beats the Kessler that showed up against Soristan. Past opponents regularly make it clear that Pavliks punching power is something they didn't expect. He is STILL under rated on this forum in LOTS of aspects. Enzo saw it first hand at ring side at the Lockett fight and that is why Joe wants no part of Kelly. In many respects this is the Cotto/Margarito expectations all over again. This is getting so old. The videos and quotes have been pasted all over this forum. Joe called Kelly out and then refused to fight him. You call it whatever you want to call it. I call it a duck cuz it is plain and simple.
Joe's not a Light Heavyweight and he holds no title at Light Heavyweight. Slappy Joe's fans are just so ****ing stupid. He's fought his whole career at Super Middle and Pavlik can easily step up to face him and would have in a second, but Joe ran like a ***** and signed some circus fight against a shot fighter.
