True, unpredictability combined with above average footspeed and handspeed.

After this fight I am going to make a thread titled "Who Picked Hopkins?" I want all you guys who did to man up, and admit that you underestimated Kelly AGAIN!

The old man may take him to school, but Kelly will be the one who rings the CLASS DISMISSED bell. Pavlik TKO10 Hopkins.

Hopkins will be doing his best John Ruiz impersonation again he will be throwing one punch at a time and then grabbing, holding, clinching etc. It will be an ugly boring fight because of Bernard Ruiz. Anyone who buys this fight is a sucker.

Kelly will come in under 170. His workouts involve building core strength, not muscle.

Im torn on this one, Hops is unpredictable at his age, he isn't getting any younger, if he wins this imo its one of his career best wins.

Pavlik is so much more predictable and orthodox than Calzaghe so i think nullifying his workrate might be a somewhat simpler task (which is the key to winning imo). Though Pavlik is substantially more powerful than Joe so even if he is landing less than Joe did they are going to trouble Hops more and score better.

At this point my prediction stands at a narrow win for Pavlik after Hops fades in the 11th and 12th.

Calzaghe did nothing new in this fight. Hopkins and Roach had him well studied. That led to the knockdown. But, Bhop just couldn't deliver. You heard what Roach was telling him in the corner?

You're out here making these bold predictions even though when this thread started you didn't even know enough about Pavlik to know what divisions he's fought in! That's the main reason people contnue to underestimate KP; they make predictions based on opinions rather than sound knowledge of what he has done in his career.

I've thought about doing a cut and past to a word processor for later 'review'. ;)

What do you mean I don't know his division? I said Pavlik was never 170 on the scales.Do you know if that is true or not?

I've thought about writing up a few notes on the common myths, and keeping it as a Word document so I could just cut and paste responses to **** like "he's never fought above 160," and he just "plods forward throwing a 1-2," et, et.
