Can't say I'm surprised. Most of the cards are absolute garbage.

 

Unlike you, who thinks GGG is great for boxing, K-2 is a decent company, and Bob Arum has had a great career....right??

 

One big problem PBC has got is all the fighters try to fight like floyd...people are sick of that style.another reason is that you have Broner as your pinup boy..duh!...and the final reason is those stupid ring entrances..as for wards 300k on bet I think that was inflated by 100k..

 

I think you're right. People are sick of being swindled. When somebody spends 3 months talking about how they are going to whip someone's ass, then takes the PPV money and does everything he can to not fight, people get ****ed off.
Floyd did a lot of damage to boxing as far as getting the casual fan involved. Especially on May 2. Unfortunately Manny just wasn't good enough on the night to make him really fight like a real fighter.

 

That's why when Floyd was asked why he came back to boxing after retiring the first time he said, "I came to steal some more money"

 

I for one hope Haymon fails. Boxing doesn't need snakes like him. Once he bankrupts and Arum dies, the boxers can run boxing like Hopkins and De La Hoya.
