Size is over rated imo. I once watched this k1 match where this little tiny thai dude was giving as good as he got against some white dude 3x his size. He was getting wailed on and kept standing and returning vicious kicks to the leg. It was a elimination type setting. He lost to the guy but the white dude could not continue to the next round because his legs got damaged. Also the first UFC had no weight classes and smaller guys where whoopin on bigger dudes. I would never underestimate an opponent based on size. Some dudes are bigger than you think.

 

Well as of recent, Pac just proved this theory wrong.

Pacquiao is a big guy who looks small. Look at the tale of the tape. He is always comparable to guys like Cotto, Floyd in terms of physical dimensions except height. He was bigger than Ricky imo. Like Nazim said Pac has fooled everyone into thinking he is a small dude. Philipinos would want you to think that because it gives credibility to the claim that he is a smaller dude come up from 106 and amazingly beating bigger fighters. It just adds to the wow factor. Pac always looked the bigger man against his opponents at 130-140. The truth is though that Pac has been dehydrated througout his career. His last fight with Marquez, Pac had a lot of trouble making 130. Pac is a natrual 140lber whos greatness allows him to fight at welter. Pac is really a big guy though. Like mosely said the cat is out the bag.

 

I disagree...Hatton is the natural bigger man given that he boils back down to 140 from 180. While Floyd walks around about 150-155. (tops)

I'm liking Floyd in the match...This is the fight we will see a different Floyd...All of the sitting back on the ropes and being a little inactive will stop...I think the skillset of Floyd will be the differnce in this match up...Floyd will outbox manny while frustrating him with his movement. He is going to come behind a high guard and rip off Right hand leads (which is a southpaw killer) and left hooks.

None the less its going to be a hell of a fight!:good

 

Ricky Hatton is a fat fat 180. If Pac/Floyd weighed 180 he would look just as fat as hatton and no smaller. Pac/floyd is bigger than hatton.
