The immediate rematch was part of the contract for PW and CQ. So Carlos really didn't have a choice, but with regards to Marg and Paul not rematching right away it was paul's choice. He thought there were other options that were probably less risky than a 2nd go with Marg....After Marg beat Cotto and Paul won his title back in impressive fashion Paul wanted to make the rematch happen and it made sense, but now Marg is holding the chips and he chose not to take on Paul....who is also a very risky fight. :roll: The timing is off and both men are setting themselves up to make the most money in the most attractive fights. you can't blame either man b/c they are just trying to get the most out of their careers.

Because as Margarito is not fighting Williams for better "business decisions", DLH is doing the same. Fighting Pacquiao will bring FAR more money than fighting Margarito, you should know better than to critcise a man who is already past it and looking to make big money fights. Margarito won't draw **** compared to a fight with Pacquiao. Wake me up if Margarito ever becomes #1 P4P.
