There is also the counter veiwpoint that PBF has been cherry picking his oppositon, avoiding the top contenders, taking on the old Gatti's, slow of foot Baldomirs and undersized Hatton's of the world to amass belts and inflate his record, as opposed to actually purging the division of its champions and being recognozed as a great champion. When a true challenge presents itself, he rides the "not enough money' boat to shore, thus showing you, clearly, what his true intentions are. his last credible opponent was ODL...an older ODL..who took him 12 rounds and won on 1 scorecard..i am not so certain PBF will even win the rematch.

how about the OVERSIZED delahoya in a small ring and who cares if he won a scorecard just shows u bad judging, hatton was the number one 140 lber who is very strong and was made to look weak by floyd then pummeled abd gatti was in his prime and got DESTROYED, Judah ko'd spinks and was the #1 ww in the world til he lost to baldomir so he just beat them both...he also beat castillo twice in his prime and corrales in his prime....CHERRY PICKING, who do you want him to fight? cotto is the only guy left that has any chance at all

I dont beleive we are talking "faults'..we are talking 'facts"..and the fact is there are 4 champions, not 1 undisputed universally recognized champion. Remember, P4P is a title that is based purely on conjecture and opinion. You are correct, PBF does not have to beat Carlos...but he should make himslef available to do so. I never hear PBF say "Vome one, Come all, i will fight anyman anytime" like Tyson used to. Instead, he hides behind the "not enough money" sheild..not relaizing he is costing himself millions by doing so,

that is exactly what i think will happen....he knows he will spank oscar who is also clearly fighting for money cuz he can't beat floyd, by then all the dust will be cleared and they will both be at the top of their games like ODH and Tito and floyd will win and become an all time great in everyone with a brains mind,,,it will be undeniable

disagree with everyhting you typed, especially that Cotto is the only one with a chance..THEY ALL HAVE A CHANCE....Ok..so on your top ten Welterweights you have gatti, hatton, judah and Baldomir. Well, my friend, my list is a little different. Also, to think that Gatti was prime, not that it would have mattered, is simply not true. I am willing to wait and see what Happens with ODL 2 before I call that a mismatch..but, facts are facts, and Oscar is older now---so the gain for PBF on this fight is purely monetary. Remeber, I am not rhe one saying PBF is the best fighter ecer...he is..so i am simply holding him to the standard he has set for himself...and you should also, as a fan of the sport.

Facts - Floyd could be holding 2 titles if he wanted to (should be 3 but Judah was stripped of the WBA).

Nice Avatar,,and with all do respect, yes. Calling out is not needed. Your presence as a true contender, conversally, is.

By this calling out logic, the NY Giants should not have to play anyone next year unless the teams call them out.

floyd could hold all 4 titles at 140 through 154 if he wanted to fight every 2 weeks...who is gonna beat him....NO ONE, until someone proves otherwise

Thanks. (Tara is one of my favorites because of her natural look)

Two different sports though. Boxing is year round. Football has a season, which you make it to the playoffs.

    Cotto-Floyd needs to happen.

Cotto SHOULD be calling out Floyd. Or at least Arum. Cotto sitting behind Arum was fine, but he's holding a title and he should be calling Floyd out. Everyone wants it, both Hatton and DLH called him out, if Cotto did it the fight would be made soon.

It's time for Cotto to speak for himself, thats all.

AND Contenders call out Champions. Not vice versa.
